Complete with Sony technology, premium entertainment options and innovative floating touch navigation, the NFC enabled Xperia Sola comes equipped with Xperia SmartTags, allowing consumers to change their smartphone’s settings and applications to fit their lifestyle in an instant. The Xperia Sola will be retailed exclusively through Harvey Norman outlets nationally for $486 RRP.
Floating touch navigation
Available exclusively on the Xperia Sola, Sony’s latest tech innovation – floating touch technology – allows users to navigate the web without actually having to touch the screen. Users simply hover their finger above the screen so it acts like a moving curser and once the desired link is found and highlighted and a simple tap will load the page. Floating touch functionality will evolve with new user applications through software updates and engagement with developers.

Simplify everyday life with NFC SmartTags
The Xperia Sola is NFC enabled and comes with two NFC Xperia SmartTags which users are free to customise to suit and simplify everyday life. By touching an NFC enabled Android smartphone, such as the Xperia Sola, on a SmartTag, a pre-configured profile in the smartphone will launch and the two SmartTags included with Xperia Sola can be customised with up to 10 commands. The Xperia Sola supports NFC pairing, allowing consumers to enjoy greater connectivity with other NFC smartphones, applications and services by tapping their smartphones together.
