As a champion of children\u2019s education, Sony is once again supporting the South Africa Mobile Library Project.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this initiative, Sony is conducting a book donation drive to bring books to young students in South Africa, who may otherwise not have access to these learning materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE DONATE YOUR CHILDREN\u2019S BOOKS UNTIL MONDAY 11 JULY 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drop off your books between 9am \u2013 4pm, Monday to Friday at the marked collection point in the loading dock of Sony Australia, 33-39 Talavera Road, North Ryde.<\/p>\n<p>Types of books required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English language books (preferably British English)<\/li>\n<li>Books suitable for ages 6 to 14<\/li>\n<li>Picture books, word books or story books for children who are learning to read<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s reference books &amp; encyclopaedias<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please avoid:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Damaged or very dirty books<\/li>\n<li>Books with a lot of handwritten notes<\/li>\n<li>Books with unsuitable content for children<\/li>\n<li>School textbooks<\/li>\n<li>Outdated books e.g. Encyclopedias published before 1995<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Books are an essential learning tool but unfortunately most young children in remote parts of South Africa are too poor to afford them.
