It’s been said that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. That may well be the case, but here at the New Tricks website, we’re about teaching those amongst us who may not yet be comfortable with technology, how to deal with the technology. What does it do? What does this term mean? How do we use this? What is good technology for me to use? What is the latest and greatest technology available?

That’s what we’re about. On these pages you will find reviews of the latest gadgets – gadgets that may be better suited to you, because they may have larger buttons, or larger text on the screens making it easier for you to read and use the device. For the vision impaired, there may be sound assistance technology as well.

Our jargon buster page will help you to understand the terminology involved, and be better equipped to ask the right questions when you’re thinking of buying something new.

Our resources section will direct you to other useful websites that may be able to provide you with assistance with issues that you may be facing.

And if you don’t find the answer that you’re looking for, please ask. In our view, the only silly question is the one that you’ve not asked, and the chances are that if you have a question that needs to be answered, there’s probably someone else with the same question.
